Researching Wisconsin's Budget
The Governor's 2023-25 Wisconsin state budget proposal was introduced in February 2023. Since then, budget-related information has been added or updated in several research sources. Our Wisconsin State Budget Process research guide includes current links to detailed information about the budget process.
Drafts of the budget are not yet available on the Wisconsin State Legislature's website. However, budget drafts can be viewed in person at the Legislative Reference Bureau in downtown Madison.
